Artis REIT, a large diversified commercial real estate investment trust, engaged 45 North Group to manage the design and construction of their tenant’s – the Minnesota Department of Education – 26,000-square-foot remodel. The building, which was constructed in 1919, features a historical exposed wood structure. To meet the Department of Education’s goal of creating a modern collaborative space and promoting employee wellness, the lower-level remodel adds large conference spaces, a kitchenette and fitness center, and storage and will allow for an enhanced workplace experience.
