Sustainability Highlights

Followed sustainable design, construction and indoor air quality design guidelines; leveraged energy efficient LED lights and lights with occupancy sensors; utilized ergonomic furniture systems, low-flow water fixtures, and low VOC materials; and diverted 50% of construction waste from landfill.

45 North Group managed the design, construction, and relocation phases of Provation’s new downtown Minneapolis headquarters space and assisted with the decommissioning of their previous space. Preliminary project support involved assessing space alternatives alongside the architect and Provation’s internal team, as well as facilitating RFP selections for a general contractor, furniture vendor, and an audio-visual vendor.

45 North Group oversaw the design-phase budget and schedule to ensure alignment with Provation’s objectives and did so through construction close-out to finish. The team managed construction activities, facilitated meetings, engaged additional vendors, reviewed invoices and pay applications, and managed the punch list.

A Collaborative Approach

Through 45 North Group’s collaborative approach, the project team navigated and expedited the construction and relocation dates for Provation’s 200+ employees. Provation’s move from the TractorWorks Building in the North Loop to the Millwright building near U.S. Bank Stadium occurred during the uncertainty caused by COVID-19. The team focused on Provation’s objectives and maintained a safe environment, which allowed occupancy sign-offs, punch list review, and completion to occur ahead of schedule.
